Marriage Matters

Marriage MattersBeing held at Mount Chapel, and organised jointly by Salford Elim Church, Mount Chapel and Langworthy Community Church, Marriage Matters is a unique opportunity for couples to invest in their marital relationships.

Led by Roger and Maggie Ellis the one night, one day event aims to build, enhance, strengthen and deepen the bonds of marriage in a relaxed, loving and non-threatening environment.

The course costs £30 per couple (help available for those unable to meet the financial commitment) and childcare will be available on the Saturday. To register please contact us.

The Speakers

Roger and Maggie have been involved with pre marital preparation, working with married couples and running seminars and course for a number of years at events like Soul Survivor Momentum and Grapevine as well as speaking in churches and groups of churches on marriage.

Roger is a founder member and leader of Revelation Church in Chichester, he helped pioneer the student ministry Fusion and he works on the leadership team of the Pioneer network of churches, training and mentoring church leaders.

Maggie is a UKCP registered psychotherapist and a psychosexual therapist by specialism, working both privately and within the NHS. She is Christianity Magazine’s agony aunt and is director of Lifecentre Rape Crisis Service overseeing a large team delivering helpline and face to face counselling services, a preventative education programme and a variety of other services for survivors of rape and sexual abuse. She is also an associate trainer at Cantle leadership development centre.

The couple are married with two teenage children.

The Course

Friday November 12th: 7.30pm (finish time approximately 9.30pm)
Saturday November 13th: 9.30am (finish time approximately 4.30pm, please provide your own lunch for you/family)

On Sunday November 14th at 10.30am, Roger and Maggie will also be preaching at Salford Elim Church.
