Delivering the Captives

If you are sympathetic to the viewpoint that most of the problems we face in life stem from the direct work of demonic forces attacking people, then this book will be of interest to you. The book introduces themes of how to prevent the enemy gaining a foothold and what to do if he has. There are lists of the ways that demons act together to bring people under various degrees of spiritual bondage. If you are not sympathetic to this view, this book will not persuade you to change your mind.

I am employed by church for a day a week, and my role is to keep an eye on the overall strategy of the church, have a major part to play in the teaching and preaching, and to tell good stories about what God has done with us to others. My other day job is with the London Institute of Contemporary Christianity. I work as a church consultant with a small group of churches (around 15 of them) scattered across the country, from the full range of denominations, thinking through with them how we can best develop churches that are able to nurture really positive, whole-life disciples of Jesus. I love it!
