You’re The Gift

It’s ok to talk about the gifts of the Spirit, but how do you know how God has gifted you and how to use those gifts? One of the helpful ways of coming to terms with this looks at when you feel most fulfilled and what fruit you leave behind with other people when you are with them.  Or you can use one of these gift awareness tools. They are rough and ready, depend on you being honest and might be good for you to do with a friend looking over your shoulder.  But worth exploring.

I am employed by church for a day a week, and my role is to keep an eye on the overall strategy of the church, have a major part to play in the teaching and preaching, and to tell good stories about what God has done with us to others. My other day job is with the London Institute of Contemporary Christianity. I work as a church consultant with a small group of churches (around 15 of them) scattered across the country, from the full range of denominations, thinking through with them how we can best develop churches that are able to nurture really positive, whole-life disciples of Jesus.
