You Captivate My Heart
A poem by Val Walker
On October 27th Langworthy Community Church are bringing the Naturally Supernatural Conference to Salford. It’s all about us learning how to move more powerfully in the gifts of the Holy Spirit as part of our daily lives.
We’re currently looking for someone to come and join us, to help coordinate & develop our already established Young People & Children’s work.
Just a quick reminder that this Saturday at 5pm we’re having a barbecue at church. Bring salads, desserts & drinks, and we’ll provide meat & bread.
At the heart of the historical Jesus story is the provocative, compelling, subversive, beautiful insistence that nothing can ever be the same again, not after resurrection.
Tomorrow is Palm Sunday, which begins Holy Week (or Passion Week) – the week that commemorates Jesus’ death and resurrection. Here’s a new visualization Bible Gateway created that harmonizes the four Gospel accounts of Holy Week and lets you examine the “who,” “what,” and “where” of events leading up to and through Easter. Follow the lines in the chart to see at a glance what people were doing, where they were, and whom they were with at any point during the week.
