We want students to feel welcome here, to join with us in worshipping God in a way that you feel comfortable. So whether you like screaming your praise or taking time to gaze upon his beauty… just worship Him.
What We Offer Students
We see students as part of our family, which means we invite you to join in with any or all of the activities we offer as part of our day-to-day church life. However we also recognise that your time at university is different from any other time in your life and we want to offer you things to help.
We offer:
- Lunch after the service on term-time Sundays; this is a brilliant opportunity to meet with members of the church family and other students and share a meal.
- Do you need short-term accommodation outside term time? A trip to Ikea? Help finding a house for 2nd or 3rd Year? Just ask.
- Tired of seeing the same four walls? We never say no to coffee or curry!
Small Groups
While we don’t have a separate student meeting during the week, as we realise the amount of meetings you could be involved in, if you do want to join a home group talk to Jemma & Tony. Small groups are a time to meet together in groups for 10 or less to study God’s Word and discuss what it means for us. There are several small groups meeting throughout the week, any of which students are welcome to.
We also have links with The University of Salford Christian Union, who we help support in different ways throughout their student lives.
Tony and Jemma are the members of the pastoral team with special responsibilities for students, contact them if you need prayer or support.
We look forward to growing along side you as we seek to serve God in our ministries.
