WHAT IF CHRISTMAS IS ABOUT MORE?

What if Christmas isn’t like it’s portrayed in the songs? What if it’s more complicated, more disappointing, more disruptive? We’re not the only ones to feel like this – it was like this on the first Christmas.

But there is hope…

WHO ARE WE?

Salford Elim Church began in 1950 after a series of meetings on Eccles New Road. For many years we had a building in the precinct area, and we later began to share a church building with the congregation of Holy Angels. In 2021 we were fortunate to have St. James Hope on Eccles Old Road agree to share their building with us, which is where we now meet.

We are a growing community of whole-life disciples who are alert to God’s leading, paying careful attention to one another and the moment we are in, so that we can be good news to those around us.

We think friends are important; we believe that grace is important – so we don’t want to be judgmental; we believe that everyone has something to offer; we believe that we can experience God’s love and presence together.

Our main Sunday service starts at 11.30am – onsite at St James and also online. We have a range of meetings & events going on throughout the week too, with something for everyone.

All are welcome to come along and join us. You can find out more about us and what we do by visiting our website, or by connecting with us on social media.
